A man chooses to be disrespectful or abusive in order to get what he wants no matter what other explanation for his behaviour he may give you.
These needs usually include having their sexual needs met first, having their girlfriend take responsibility for contraception, doing things they want when they want.
Men choose capable and strong women who are capable of giving them what they want while coping with the effects of abuse.
Men will rarely be unfair or abusive when they first meet someone they want as a girlfriend.
Men who choose to abuse usually have very good skills at talking and listening to women. Otherwise these men would never get girlfriends.
Women report that they met their future partner when they were going through a rough patch. Most of us go through rough patches at some point in our lives.
Women find that men do not usually become disrespectful or abusive until they feel you are committed to the relationship. Sometimes disrespectful behaviour starts when you get pregnant.
Remember many controlling boyfriends don't allow you to use protection, so you have a much greater chance of having an unwanted pregnancy or STD (sexually transmitted disease) in a disrespectful, than a respectful relationship.
